SALINEVILLE- Cooper Edmiston has been named the Salineville Kiwanis Student of the Month for December.
Edmiston, the son of Rodney Edmiston and Kelly Baker of Salineville, has demonstrated exemplary academic achievement throughout his time at Southern Local High School. He is currently ranked 10th in his senior class and holds a 4.23 grade point average. He has excelled in athletics and is a three-year letterman in football. He received the Tomahawk Award in 2021 and the Puckett Award in 2022, plus he was part of the 2022-23 football team who made it to the Region 25, Division 7 regional semifinals. Edmiston was also on the 2021 Fall Homecoming Court and is currently a member of the National Honor Society.
Following graduation, he plans to attend college to study exercise science and pursue a career in physical therapy.
