Kindergarteners Jack Stowers and Alexa Burrows battled it out in the balloon pop game during Field Day 2023 at Southern Local Elementary School, and Sowers was victorious in the end as physical education teacher Kathy Randolph looked on. Students in each grade have been competing in fun activities at Wigwam Stadium including a water game, long jump and tennis ball toss as they count down to the last day of school on June 2.
